Ok, I must admit, I have never been to Saskatchewan, except a couple times to drive through the province to get to the other side. Well, after all the jokes about how boring Saskatchewan is, I must say that it isn't quite what I expected. The province is more beautiful and interesting than I thought, and I'm here to show why. Now don't get me wrong, I'm from Manitoba, and having lived here all my life, I think it's easy for me to love Saskatchewan's landscape. What with the big open skies, the colourful fields and the gentle rolling hills... there's nothing like a long drive on the highway in the prairies. Even in the "dead" of spring! (Yes, dead. There was snow in May.)
I spent the weekend in Prince Albert, and let me tell you, that's quite a few hours of driving. I had time to take a few shots, as well as edit a few images while in the car with my trusty laptop. What else is there to do in the 10 hour drive?

Just like Kendra said, there's something magical about Saskatchewan! We spent an entire drive trying to convince Dwayne how different, and beautiful, the light is! He just didn't see it. I love, love, LOVE this province. So happy you found the beauty in it!
Wow! Bonne chose j'ai "forcé" Rachel d'arrêter. It was so worth it for these photos. It makes Saskatchewan look appealing!
I *Heart* Saskatchewan! I may be biased because I grew up there. But the last drive through on a clear summer day, it really made me realize the beauty. And the colours there are just...different (ask Kara, she knows what I mean). Great pics!
