Casual Family Portraits At Home

The Paquins is where you want to be - their house is warm, cozy and full of life! I've known these guys for a while now, and it's always a pleasure to photograph them. I love taking casual, relaxed family portraits that reflect the family's true personality and life. For these, we went around their house and yard and took pictures as candid and relaxed as possible. I'm not a fan of matching clothes and traditional awkward poses, and I'm always happy when a family gives me free reign of the house and are up for anything!

Winter Couple Photography

Winter portrait photography: there's nothing like it on a mild Winnipeg December afternoon! I met up with Sandra and Dave at St. Vital park earlier this month to do a beautiful (and fun) couple portrait session with them. It was a beautiful winter setting and I was excited to get these shots for them. Sandra and I go waaaaay back, when I used to work at les Productions Rivard - she's a feisty and passionate person and I've learned so much from working with her! It was great to reconnect and hang out for an afternoon. Sandra, being used to directing and being behind the camera, did quite well as the roles were reversed! They make such a lovely pair on camera and they both have such a great chemistry. I was happy to be able to capture a glimpse of it. On se reverra bientôt vous deux - quand il fera plus chaud ! :)

Winnipeg Winter Wedding Photography

This past Saturday I put on my boots and headed out to photograph Gisèle and Denis' winter wedding. They ended up getting a beautiful overcast day with light snow and (relatively) mild temperatures. I have to say thank you to Gisèle and her bridesmaids for braving the cold so we could get some great pictures at the St. Boniface Cathedral! I had a great time and enjoyed photographing this wedding. Gisèle and Denis are such a sweet couple, very generous and welcoming. I was honoured to be present at their wedding and I'm excited to finally post some of my favourite pictures from the day. Gisèle and Denis had their reception at Bridges Golf Course, and as you can tell, it was beautifully lit and wonderfully romantic. Félicitations vous deux ! C'était un plaisir de vous photographier !

Wedding Albums - the linen-covered coffee table book

I'm excited to show you photos of my linen-covered coffee table books - perfect for wedding albums, wedding guest books or portrait photo books. I have to tell you: these books are gorgeous and have an incredible texture. They're made in Canada (love it) and come in 6 beautiful colours. In the photos here I have petal green, taupe and black on display. They have gorgeous hand-made marble end papers (you can't miss them!) and the option of having your name stamped onto the book. There are also matching boxes or slip cases available.
