The other day some of my photo-geek friends and I decided to have a studio shoot to practice some of our lighting skills. Two of my other friends showed up to be photographed, one of which I'm sure you'll recognize (Joanna, one of my favourite people to photograph. Oh faithful Jo), and Daniel, who informed me that this was his first time posing for the camera in front of studio lights. He mentioned having once been requested by Wal-Mart many years ago to pose for some of their photo studio advertising, but he declined. I was flattered he accepted my request. :)
Sync cord in and a 4-light set up (with the recommendations of Duncan), we went to town and started shooting. Dallas wasn't very far with her fisheye lomo camera, snapping shots in between mine. Ailsa got right in as well, and took a few shots of her own (I hope she facebooks them!). Here are a few highlights of our afternoon...
